On the other side of the net is Mitchell Krueger, who is ranked at world No.228 and turned pro in 2012. The 28-year-old reached the fourth round of the Newport Open and Houston Open this year – while also adding a fourth-round appearance at the Delray Beach Open against Grigor Dimitrov. The former World No. 5 junior broke into Top 200 in February 2017 and achieved career-high No. 147 in October 2021.
