Erling Haaland Man City 2022/23
How impressed have you been with Erling Haaland?

People chuck about the ‘bought it all’ jibes all the time when it comes to Manchester City and their successes; however, the way in which Pep Guardiola has revved up the side as a non-stop domestic winning machine is absolutely extraordinary. Maintaining such an impeccable standard is something seldom few sides over history have managed, but Pep’s side are showing no signs of slowing down.

Erling Haaland has been the success story of the season so far for the Cityzens, smashing 14 goals in his first 10 games. The first City player to score on his Premier League and Champions League debut, the Norwegian smashed the most amount of goals in August in the division’s history.

As for Man United, whisper it quietly, it looks like things are starting to take shape for Erik Ten Hag. The Dutchman was named as September’s Manager of the Month, with United winning against both Leicester and Arsenal to climb up to 5th. It’s by no means the finished glossy product just yet, but at least there are reasons for United fans to be more optimistic about the road ahead now.

Man City vs Man United Head To Head Record

Man City’s 4-1 win over Man Utd in March was one of the lowest points of a dismal campaign for the Red Devils, compounding the gulf that had opened up between these two rivals.

There have been 50 Manchester Derbies during the Premier League era, with Man United winning the most at 24. Man City have won 17 derbies, with there only being 9 draws since 1992.

Man City vs Man United Predictions

What was looking like a seriously ominous fixture for United fans has definitely become a lot more winnable on the back of the Reds’ string of good results. City are, however, really good at football (cutting edge analysis provided by SinkorSwimSports).

BetUS are our 2022/23 Premier League odds providers this weekend, and they have priced Man City as favourites for this Sunday’s fixture at 7/19. A draw is available at 5/1, with Man United the outsider behind at 15/2

With so many unknowns in play, we’re going to back United to hold on for what would be a well-earned point here.
