UFC 279 Betting: Nate Diaz’s Final Battle In The Cage Against Khamzat Chimaev

Nate Diaz’s UFC journey is finally coming to an end after nearly two decades of plying his trade in the eight walls of death – the Stockton-born brawler is lined up to trade leather with future touted champion Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 279 on September 10th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Diaz has opened as a massive underdog at +700 with BETUS sportsbook against the undefeated Chimaev and wants to punctuate the end of his ride with a win in the cage. Meanwhile, Chimaev comes into this bout as the overwhelming favorite at -1400 to continue his welterweight supremacy.

When looking back at Nate Diaz betting, the Californian has closed as the underdog for his last few duels in the cage. But the former lightweight title challenger has not closed any further than +385, the price he entered against now welterweight champion Leon Edwards last time out.

The Swedish superstar has been the favorite in all of his UFC fights but never closed better than the -1050 he battled Rhys McKee with. It seems that the huge disparity in odds has not deterred bettors and many have backed the veteran superstar.

How to Bet On UFC 279

UFC Moneyline Betting –This is the simplest and most common bet. A wager on who will win the fight. Will fighter A win the fight or will fighter B win the fight?

Over/Under Rounds UFC Betting – In UFC over/under betting, sportsbooks will set a line on how long the fight will last, and it will be up to you if you decide the fight will go longer or shorter than what the trader’s price it as.

UFC Round Betting – UFC betting enthusiasts are also able to wager on which round the fight will be won in and by which fighter.

UFC Method Of Victory The UFC Method of Victory is very similar to the outright betting/moneyline except you specify how a fighter will win. You’re betting on a specific outcome of how a fight will end. A bout can be decided by (split decision, unanimous, majority), technical decision, decision, draw, KO/TKO, or submission.
