The inaugural winter World Cup is set to kick off on Sunday, November 20 in Qatar with the world’s leading football titans descending down onto the Middle East. 

Harry Kane will duel with Gareth Bale in Group B, Lionel Messi will be going toe-to-toe with Robert Lewandowski in Group C, Cristiano Ronaldo will be vying for supremacy against Luis Suarez in Group H while Neymar will battle it out with Xherdan Shaqiri in Group G.

When and where is the 2022 World Cup?

The 2022 World Cup in Qatar kicks off on Sunday, November 20 at the Al Bayt Stadium when the hosts take on Ecuador in Group A.

What is the World Cup group draw?

The 2022 World Cup will begin with 32 teams in eight groups of four:
